Ride 4 the Environment

Ride 4 the Environment - Mornington Peninsula is the first exciting major event of the Sport 4 the Environment program, in what is an excellent way for you to explore the Mornington Peninsula from the seat of your bike, all while raising vital funds to help sport clubs become environmentally sustainable.

Sport 4 the Environment Week

In order to ensure that Sport 4 the Environment remains relevant and is constantly in the public eye, an annual Sport 4 the Environment Week will be created.

The Sport 4 the Environment Week will consist of a range of activities which will include but is not limited to:

• An annual major community event.
  Annual Sport 4 the Environment Awards Night.
• Athlete media conferences.
• Community events – fundraising and community initiatives throughout Australia, supported by Sport 4 the Environment with high profile athletes participating and creating awareness and giving credibility.
• Launch of commercial partnerships
• Announcements of funding initiatives and recognition of achievements.

The proposed date for the inaugural Sport 4 The Environment week is 13-19 October 2008.
